Celtic Tugs

Celtic Tugs is today the largest privately owned port towage and salvage fleet operator in Ireland. In November 2000 the company was awarded a long-term contract for the provision of three ASD tugs on the river Shannon on the west coast of Ireland to service various facilities on the Estuary.

Since the company’s inception it has provided towage services to clients not just in Shannon and Cork harbours, but also on the coast by way of contract towage and salvage. Handling vessels of up to 180,000 DWT on the Shannon is challenging and ships’ captains and pilots depend on the efficiency and reliability of our tugs and their crews.
