Naming Ceremony for Celtic Treaty

Mainport were delighted and proud to name our new tug Celtic Treaty which means our tugs in Shannon are now the youngest tugs in any port in Ireland .  Our Godmother was Kaye Ronayne , wife of our CEO , our tug was blessed by local priest Fr Mike Cussen accompanied by our customer Pat Keating CEO of Shannon Foynes Port Authority . We then adjourned for lunch to the excellent newly refurbished Foynes Flying boat museum where we hosted 120 people from the general Irish maritime community . The weather stayed dry , but we took the precaution of erecting a marque anyway.
